Palermo is a historic city in southern Italy, the Capital of the Autonomous Region Sicily and of the Province of Palermo. Palermo has always been a capital city, the see of Emirs, Norman kings, Bourbon, Spanish and French Viceroys. The cooks have therefore experienced the need to prove the rulers Palermo’s wealth by turning poor, essential, genuine raw materials into magnificent dishes.
